City - Country layout
My last project. On the bottom is main City station. Passenger and cargo is separated by city street. Through city goes double passable rails to underground station and one local rail which goes to country and farther to the mountains to reach long distanced station. Train station is fitted with complex light signal and semafor system. I studied it on internet to know where must be yellow, green and red light. It is analog controlled. It is small layout 3x4 Still under work.
My first Digitally controlled layout. In the middle is main cargo terminal. There goes trains from sawmill, stone mine and big industry complex from the top right. Engines are turned in the turntables. From south goes two passenger trains(express and local) to city to the north left. The local then continues to industry complex to take there workers. Through North station goes the international express which come from tunnel and ends in other tunnel.(there is a underground station for it) As a bonus there is a Steam powered train hidden in the heating plant. After calling it goes out, takes the two green passenger wagons in the middle of station and goes in one way to north station, by other way to south, then again to the north from different direction and back to the south to end in central cargo station with leaving wagons out again and going to hide in hall back. Controlled are only departures from the main stations. I built it by method "what just come to my mind" and the result surprised me by pretty nice complexity.
Valašské Meziříčí project
I made almost exact copy of real Valasske Mezirici railways. Trains go to all directions: Roznov pod Radhostem, Ostrava, Hranice na Morave, Vsetin, Kojetin. It is still not done, low fps doesn't allow me to continue adding models. And it is not playable, I need new PC ! But just to create such large station was joyful. And to make all rails useable would mean to give into this map hundreds of control switches... CRAZY :)
Some details from other layouts
